Series notes:
A certificate of probabe sealed for a second time (reseals) in order to give an executor powers of administration outside the place where probate is granted, and to legalise the transfer of assets when Probate or Letters of Administration have been taken out in the place of residence but assets are held elsewhere (ie Tasmania). Reseals can relate to assets held in Tasmania by deceased persons residing elsewhere at the time of their death: temporarily resident in Tasmania or temporarily resident outside Tasmania. The administration is usually done by application to a Tasmanian legal firm to act in Tasmania on behalf of the absent executor.
