Series notes:
Two volumes containing exemption notes for master mariners taking exam to be exempt from pilotage. Both volumes appear to have been written by L. H. Gibson who worked at the Marine Board of Launceston from 1948-1968. The first volume contains notes Gibson used from J. J. Lyons of the Union Steam Ship Co.
