Re-establishment loans were loans given to ex-servicemen under the Re-establishment and Employment Act 1945. This file contains three lists and effectively constitutes a register to the J Files, which were reports on individual properties. These J files have not been transferred to the Archives, so this volume is important in that it tells us who in the southern division had a re-establishment loan.

There are 3 file lists contained in this file. ;;The first is only 2 pages and appears to have been pinned into the volume at a later date. The date range for this list is 1967-1972. The names are a small proportion of those in earlier lists. The second list appears to be part of the original file and is a list with three columns, in ascending J file number order. The other columns are name and district. There is no date. The third list also appears to be part of the original file, and is an index, within each letter of the alphabet the names are arranged by file number in ascending order. The district is also given. There is no date.
