Series notes:
With the changes to the new Child Protection Board's role under the Child Protection Amendment Act 1990, a Child Protection Assessment Committee (CPAC) was convened by the Board to provide early intervention services and to initiate court action. CPAC was assisted by regional assessment committees based in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. These regional committees had also operated under the old Child Protection Assessment Board.
