Agreements between masters and crew which include age of crewmen, place of birth, home address, signature, occupation on ship, ship on which last served and date and reason for discharge, date of signing agreement, terms of agreement, date at which crewman is to be on board, wages and allotments to be paid, initials of witness and report of crewman's character.

Regarding the vessel the record includes name of ship, official number of vessel, port of registry, port number and date of register, registered gross and net tonnage and nominal horse power of ship's engines if any.

Other information recorded includes registered owner or manager and their address, number of seamen for whom accommodation is certified, details of charterer, log book, scale of provisions, bill of fare, deck and load lines, regulations for maintaining discipline and account of apprentices on board.
