Series notes:
The Insurance Board was established in February 1911 after a fire in the Port of Hobart. At this time an account was opened with the Commercial Bank of Tasmania called the 'The Marine Board of Hobart Insurance Fund'. The Insurance Board consisted of the Master Warden, Secretary and a warden of the Marine Board.
