Series notes:
Minutes of meetings of the Board of Technical Education. Public bodies, such as the Hydro Electric Commission became associated with development of technical education through their representation on the Board. The Board's first chairman was H.E.C. associate commissioner Professor Graham Newstead who presided over the inaugural meeting of the Board on 19 March 1963. This series comprises the minutes recorded during Newstead's participation on the Board.
