These files contain correspondence between the Treasury and the Australian Government Actuary on a range of issues relating to superannuation and insurance.There are several gaps in the alpha-numeric sequence as files that contained no Tasmanian content were destroyed, and files that contained only statistcal data and published material used for reference purposes were also destroyed. The files are contained in Australian Actuary file covers-it would seem that the fiiles were compiled by the Australian Government Actuary, who then transferred the files to Treasury.
