Copies of plans can be made for property owners for private use and study. Copyright in the plans remains with the creator of the plan.
Series notes:
The Devonport Council has a scanning program whereby it scans all building applications. The applications in this series have also been scanned, but as they are heritage buildings, the hard copies have been retained. The scanned copies appear in series AF500, organised by application number.
Each appl;ication has an individual folder, and the applicaiton number is written on the outside of the folder. The folders generally contain the application and a report on the proposed building. A plan of the proposed work and associated correspondence may be included.
