Series notes:
This was a register series developed to control the tracking of the plans submitted for approval to council. Each plan had an initial register number and once the process had been completed, those approved plan entries were annotated with their actual application number (the number that appears in AF842 and AE417 series).
Information recorded includes - number, date plan lodged, locality, name of builder, construction type, contract sum, fees paid, movement of plan though various council entities and the approved number for the application.
