Series notes:
The Crown Lands Act 1924 was an act for regulating the sale and disposal of Crown Land in Tasmania. The 1924 act contained ammendments to the principle act and stated that the value of acreage was to be determined by the Secretary of Lands. The 1924 act stipulated new terms to be applied upon the sale of any first class land. A sum equal to 113rd of the price was to be paid by way of premium, for allowance that the purchaser was able to pay the sum off in twenty-four annual installments. This register lists the name of the purchaser of the land, the situation and area of the land, the date of contract, the purchase amount, deposit amount and instalments paid.
