Series notes:
These volumes register applications by men to marry when either party is a convict; they give the names and condition of both parties, the Lieutenant-Governor's decision and sometimes the date and other particulars of the marriage. The usual comment in the Decision column is either Yes, No or E.O (Ecclesiastical Objection)
