These records are part of the holdings of the Tasmanian Archives
System of Arrangement:
Items CRO31/1/1-CRO31/1/53 were packaged by Dr Crowther in a disused gramophone record album and kept by him as samples of early Van Diemen's Land correspondence. Items CRO31/2/1 onwards were given by Dr Crowther to Dr Charles Swanston (1915-2012); the family donated these letters to the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office in 2016.
