This series of registers was commenced when the old system of registration was reintroduced in 1847 (see under CSO24). They correspond to the records of that series. There is no difference in format or function from previous registers (see under CSO30 - CSO33); the pagination is continuous throughout the six volumes, each of which carries its own numerical register of file numbers, except the last, which is so indexed in CSO34/5
