System of Arrangement:
They are arranged alphabetically. From GD61/1/1-85 there are three runs of files which are not mutually exclusive. Hence, more than one run may need to be checked for an individual. Dates are based on when the person was charged in Court. Files GD61/2/1-135 are a representation of records kept by the prison system. Only files for inmates with surnames starting with A and part of B have been kept. They have been retained for the purpose of illustrating the the procedures and documentation of the prison system.
