Series notes:
Comprises various administrative papers pertaining to the Methodist Church. These were private papers, most likely belonging to a person involved with the Paterson Street Methodist Church (Pilgrim Uniting Church), Launceston. The Paterson Street Methodist Chapel, schoolroom and caretakers's cottage were built in 1835-36. A larger church was soon needed and a new church was opened in 1868. The Paterson Street Methodist Church became the Pilgrim Uniting Church.
