Original diary of William Johnstone who emigrated to Launceston in 1841-42. William and his new wife Mathilda sailed on their "Wedding Journey" on the 'Arab' from Gravesend, London, leaving on 7 November 1841 and arriving in Launceston on 13 August 1842. Includes a transcript of the diary by Angela Prosser Green.
