Series notes:
The backing on the reverse of this group of photographs is cut from a Tasmanian newspaper, while the mounts themselves bear the imprint of Marion and Co., Sydney photographers.
A note on the reverse of one portrait says "Miss Millar, pale blue eyes, hair fair". It is a photograph of a girl aged about 18 months wearing a short sleeve dress and broderie anglaise pinafore. This same child is the subject of an opaltype portrait also held in the Launceston Local Studies Collection.
