Series notes:
Registers of applications under Section 80 of the Real Property Act 1862 to lay claim to the land of a deceased proprietor (landowner). Such claims were made by application to the Recorder of Titles. The registers contain application number, date, name of applicant, residence, area, description of property, value, date gazetted, caveats, issue date of certificate of title, volume and folio number.
