Series notes:
A wide range of inward and outward correspondence including with the Secretary for Mines, the Government Chemist, the Government Assayer, the Mount Cameron Water Race Board, the Chairman of the Board of Examiners, the Commonwealth Government and members of the public. Notable correspondence is included leading up to the Mt Lyell Mining Disaster of 1912. Notable other material includes a 1911 report into the North East Dundas water supply for mining and a 1911 report of accidents on the West Coast of Tasmania.
