This organisation was formed in 1980 to put the case of the Hydro Electric Commission's Workers to the Tasmanian Governement in the face of protests from Wilderness and Conservation groups reagarding the viability of further Hydro Electric Schemes, and in particular the proposed Gordon below Franklin Dam.
