Chameleon Artists Co-operative was established in 1981 to foster contemporary art in Tasmania. It was one of the longest running contemporary art spaces in Australia. It provided studio spaces and a large exhibitions gallery and was situated at 46 Campbell Street, Hobart;;In August 1992 Chameleon became part of a new Organisation called Contemporary Art Services Tasmania (CAST)
