Operated as a drop in centre and Op Shop in Main Road Glenorchy with some paid but mainly volunteer staff from participating churches. Aimed to give practical and spiritual help to those in need through counselling, home and hospital visits and supplying food. Replaced in 1999 by a Branch of the Hobart City Mission using the name Glenorchy City Mission.
