Mark Lines (1830-1915) was the sixth child born in Northamptonshire, England to John Abbot Lines and Elizabeth Ann Propit. He married Jane Low (1838-1929) on 29 July 1856. Jane was the daughter of George Low and born in Fraserborough, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.;;;;Mark and Jane's son David Lines, a surgeon, moved to Hobart with his wife and children in 1895.
