Victor Eldred Newton Oxenford was cremated at Cornelian Bay on the 11th October 1967 aged 66. He had been a resident of 11 Clarke Avenue Battery Point ( a suburb of Hobart) and in his will describes himself as a shop assistant. A note suggests he worked for Soundy's. His wife Winifred Lyall Oxenford, a retired shop assistant, died on the 17 April 1987 in a rest home. They had no children. ;;Victor appears to have had some interest in photography and may have been a member of the Southern Tasmanian Photographic Society, although most of the subjects in the photographs are of Tasmanian tourist destinations only.
