Description:
Charles Joseph and Winifred Burow emigrated to Tasmania in 1950 as retirees. In England, Charles had worked in various jobs including those associated with aircraft, newspaper photography and movie theatres. He was also a collector of antiques and documentary heritage. Charles and Winifred settled in Legana. Winifred was born on 15 May 1892 and died on 23 August 1971. Charles was born on 26 December 1888 and died in Hobart in April 1977, aged 88.
