Description:
In 1969 Mrs E Ward of Drmmond Street, Perth donated a 2 acre block of land, including her own home to the Methodist Church for use in the care of aged persons. In Decemeber 1972 one double and three single self contained units were opened by the Minister for Health and in April 1976 another 4 units were built. Stage 3 was completed in 1979 and Stage 4 in 1984.
