Description:
The Centre was a project that involved 5 Methodist Circuits in Northern Tasmania and the Committee first met in August 1961. The official opening was held Easter Saturday in 1965 and by that time the Master plan of the buildings was complete but there was a considerable amount of work to be done on the site. At a meeting in April 1977 the Constitution was amended following the formation of the Uniting Church and the name was Changed from Bridport Methodist Fellowship Centre to Bridport Fellowship Centre. The property was sold in March 1999
