Florence Greig, born in Hobart on 14 Aug 1866, was the second daughter of Charles Grace Greig (1834-1897) and his wife Mary Augusta Smales (1845-1917). She was an accomplished artist and a member of the Launceston Art Society. She lived with her sister Ethel in 'Stratton Cottage', at 94 York Street, Launceston. On 15 March 1921 she married Thomas Scott Murray in Launceston. She died at Cheltenham, Victoria on 18 April 1937.;;;;;;
