Nonus Clifford Luck was born on 2 October 1892, the ninth son of William and Elizabeth (nee Burnett) Luck. The family lived at 'Vermont', Mowbray. Nonus was a soldier during the First World War, a farmer and a milkman. He married Minnie Emmie Little on 12 February 1920. They had three children, Jean Mavis, Clifford Joseph and Geoffrey William. Nonus Luck died on 8 January 1986.
