The Launceston Evangelical Nursing Association was established in 1896. The first officers were President Henry Reed, Treasurer Frederick Williams, Secretary Rev G T Heyward and Nurse Moore. Their premises were in Margaret Street, Launceston. The Association appears to have wound up in 1974. Their headquarters were then located at 18 Anne Street. ;;;;The object of the Association was to provide a nurse for the sick and infirm poor of Launceston and suburbs in their own homes.
