St Stephen's Youth Choir was formed about 1970 at St Stephen's Presbyterian Church, Glen Dhu Street, West Launceston. Marcia Collings, Rev Ian Collings' wife, was the leader and conductor of the choir. In July 1976 the Choir attended the International Society of Music Education Conference held in the Congress Hall at Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland.
