The Hobart Deaf Senior Citizen's Club was formed in 1993. The object of the club was to promote friendship and mutual support amongst members and to organise meetings, activities and outings et. for this purpose. The club was a non-proprietary and non-profit making organisation. The business and general control of the affairs of the club was managed by a committee consisting of a President, Secretary, Treasurer and four other committee members. They held meetings once a month and also held an AGM.
