Alan Frost was an artist, teacher and playwright. His art has been exhibited with the Society of Artists and the Contemporary Art Society of New South Wales.;;Alan Frost studied with Max Angus under Jack Carrington Smith at the Hobart Technical College for a Diploma of Fine Art in 1948-1950.
