Patricia Anne Cleveland (Pat) was educated at the Morongo Presbyterian School in Geelong, the Gordon Institute of Technology and the Launceston Technical College. She graduated from the College with a Fine Arts Diploma majoring in ceramics.;;In 1975 Pat co-founded the Riverside Potters, a commercial and teaching establishment in Launceston. Three years later she established, with Gary Cleveland, the Design Centre of Tasmania.;;In Hobart in 1981 Pat started the Handmark Gallery in Hampden Road, Battery Point to specialise in the discovery, patronage and marketing of Tasmanian Art and Craft. The Gallery moved to Salamanca Place in 1987.;;In 2009 Pat received the Island Inspired Ministerial Award for dedication to the enrichment of the cultural life of Tasmania. A year later she was recognised with an Order of Australia (OAM) or services to the Arts in Tasmania.;;Patricia sold the Gallery in 2007.;;;;
