Description:
Allan Matthew Williamson (ca.1815-1893), a gardener and land surveyor, was transported for forgery in 1847. He received a ticket of leave, but this was revoked when he was convicted of further offences. He died in Hobart Gaol in 1893, under a ten-year sentence for forgery.
