Description:
The Fox Terrier Club of Tasmania was founded on 17 August 1962. It initially adopted the constitution of the Victorian Fox Terrier Club. Its aim was to be a specialised club to foster the breed by increasing the quality and numbers. The club held instructional evenings on anatomy, breeding and veterinary care and also ran weekend handling and training sessions. The club appears to have folded in the mid 1990s.
