Description:
William John ('Old Bill') Stewart, 1881-1949, was the oldest Tasmanian to join the Neilson Alonso whaling voyage of 1926-27. He sailed again on the voyage of 1930-31. His son William Harris Stewart ('Young Bill') also sailed on the Neilson Alonso.
