The Bay of Fires Coastal Preservation Lobby is a conservation group established in 1988, to protect the East Coast of Tasmania from inappropriate development. Its principal founder, Jay Yulumara (formerly Janice Grubb), documented the organisation's work in her 2013 book "Battling for Binalong: an environmental history of Binalong Bay, North East Tasmania". Jay died14 August 2017.
