Elizabeth Dickson was the eldest child of Bassett and Mary Dickson (formerly Brown) of Glen Ayr, Richmond. She married David Napier Jameson in 1878 and they had two children - Margaret and David Hamilton. They lived at "Karrachee", Bellerive. Elizabeth's husband died following a riding accident in 1888.;;Elizabeth was an amateur painter and was honorary secretary for the Tasmanian Art Society in 1901.;;She died, aged 52, at "Weerona", Richmond, the home of her sister, Anne Dickson, in November 1903.;;
