Description:
This school was established in June 1900 by educationist Samuel Clemes [1945-1922]] in Pirie Street, New Town. Clemes had previously been headmaster of Friend's School. Upon his death in 1922 family members took charge. Leslie House School was renamed Clemes College in 1922 and was amalgamated with The Friends' School in 1946.
