How to Use:
Each interviewee signed a form which permitted the Central Plateau Oral History Project Committee to broadcast or publish in writing part or all of their recording and/or transcript (NS1498/1/7).
Requests for permission to re-use of any of the materials outside Committee use must be made to the State Archivist, as directed by the former Project Committee partners.
Series notes:
Audio tapes and transcripts of interviews with people who live or have lived in the Central Plateau Region. They document the lives and experiences of these people and paint a picture of the region.
These records are part of the holdings of the Tasmanian Archives
System of Arrangement:
The Central Plateau Oral History Project Committee deposited 2 sets of tapes - items 8 to 87 are "original" cassettes and items 88 to 160 are "copies". This was a pre-digital process and the committee made a duplicate set for interested researchers to listen to.
