A 50 year closure applies to all baptisms, burials and marriages registers, except for individuals requiring access to their own record.
Records are owned by the Anglican Diocese of Tasmania.
Tasmanian Archives can authorise publication on behalf of the Diocese for open and copyright-free records. Any other requests for publication should be directed to the Diocese for approval.
Series notes:
The original registers were lent for microfilming purposes so this Office only holds the microfilm copies. In 2019, the original burial register for 1845 - 2018 was deposited (NS1544/1/10).
