This record book has had several uses and was initially used as a cash book by the Old Beach Road Trust recording payment of Road Rates from 1879 - 1881 (Ref AD9/1/1), Also included are details of A E Lords election expenses 1885 - 1897. The end of the book contains details of inquests held at Brighton, including the Coroner's and medical expenses
