Series notes:
The pencil entries in these tiny diaries is very feint and difficult to read, however it is most likely these are the diaries of Beatrice Travers written in England before her marriage to Charles William Butler of Hobart, Tasmania. An account of a voyage to England from Tasmania via India, Aden, Malta and Gibralter to Southhampton on the 'Glenelg' to Melbourne transferring to the 'Kaisar' between 14 Aug 1880 and 13 Oct 1880 appears to be also by Beatrice Travers.
