Series notes:
A history of the Coulter family in Australia, originating from Ballarat. The Tasmanian connection is with Leslie Coulter, son of Mary and Irvine Coulter. Leslies was a mining engineer who worked for the Mount Lyell Mining and Railway Company and received a medal for bravery during the 1912 North Lyell Fire. He was also a member of one of the first groups to climb Frenchman's Cap. He died in World War 1.
