Series notes:
Photographs include Fouche in Hawaii with many of Hawaiian scenery and people; photos of wrestling advertisements and wrestlers; stage shows with trapeze acts; Fouche head and shoulders and Old Beach hotel under construction. Fouche was in Hawaii by 22 Jun 1937 & there until at least 7 Sep; he arrived in Australia from New Zealand in Nov 1937. In Hawaii he had a radio show with Nita Benedict on KGU which was sponsored by the Hawaiian Avocado Co and she may be the woman in several of the photos. (Honolulu Advertiser 4/7/1937) & she may be the woman in several of the Hawaiian photos. The building where the wrestling matches were held was the Civic Auditorium which may have been where the photos of the trapeze acts etc were held. The series of photos of Fouche & Dawkins in the ring were probably also taken there.
