Previously seriesed as NS1111/1 but removed for re-processing. There is no relationship between series NS1111 and NS2401
Series notes:
G R Eldridge owned the Port Arthur tower and land in the 1920s and had a collection of prison relics which was open to tourists. An entry in the book dated 9 January 1924 records " We found Mr Eldridge and his collection very interesting". The book had an earlier existence as a recipe scrap book. Its later existence is not documented but possibly the book remained at the Port Arthur site maybe in the museum but there is no evidence to support this.
