Series notes:
Lantern slides prepared by Frederick Smithies from photographs taken by him of wilderness areas around Waldheim Chalet, Cradle Mountain, Wilmot and Forth area . The views were used by him in lantern slide presentations of Tasmanian wilderness areas and this selection was in the possession of the Weindorfer Committee Memorial Committee, of which Frederick Smithies was an early member.
