Series notes:
The Anglican District Parish of St Leonard's (formerly known as Patterson's Plains) included the churches of St Peter's at St Leonard's and St Paul's at White Hills during the period covered by these documents.
The first St Peter's Church was opened for service 18 April 1847 and a new church was later erected and consecrated by the Rev C. F.Bromby on 13 May 1869.
The Rev Francis Brownrigg was ordained Oct 1849 by the Bishop of Tasmania and was the officiating minister in the parish during the period 1852 - 1871. The Rev Arthur Cass was minister during the period 1876 - 1878.
